2026 Club Outdoor Season Registration
Season Length: May – July
Age Groups: U9 – U10 – U11 – U12 – U13 – U15 – U17 Boys & Girls
Step 1: Register in the Correct Age Group
All players must be registered under their correct birth year. This ensures proper placement and helps our technical team assess and assign players to the most appropriate age group or team for the indoor season.
For example, a player born in 2014 should be registered under the U12 age group. Once registration is complete, the technical team will determine final team placement based on ability, development needs, and program structure.
Age Groups – Birth Year
| U8 – 2018 | | U13 – 2013 |
| U9 – 2017 | | U15 – 2011/2012 |
| U10 – 2016 | | U17 – 2009/2010 |
| U11 – 2015 |
| U12 – 2014 |
Step 2: Choose Your Program Stream
High Performance & Competitive EMSA Teams
Assessment Dates: March 16th – March 22nd. Please refer to the Assessment Schedule for all dates and times.
Our competitive teams will now have the opportunity to participate in EMSA lower tiers, providing regular league games and a development environment closer to our high-performance program. This change will help bridge the gap in competition opportunities and offer players more exposure to competition.
If you would like your child to be considered for High Performance or Competitive EMSA teams, please register under “HP & Competitive EMSA Teams.” Players not selected for a High Performance team will be considered for the Competitive EMSA Teams.
Competitive Tournament Teams
Assessment Dates: March 24th – March 27th. Please refer to the Assessment Schedule for all dates and times.
Players who are not selected for the High Performance teams or Competitive EMSA will automatically be added to the Competitive Tournament Assessment list. The office will contact these players with further details.
Players must attend all scheduled assessments to be considered for a team. Please check the assessment schedule for your designated time.
If you are unable to attend, you must still register and pay the non-refundable registration fee. Additionally, please email info@swancityfc.ca to inform us of your absence.

If minimum roster numbers are not met, the team will not proceed, and registered families will be contacted directly regarding alternative options.
Registration closes on March 12th. Only players registered online will be allowed to take part in assessments.
If you are unsure about your player’s jersey, shorts, or sock size, please check the size chart by clicking this link: Size Chart. This will help ensure the right fit for your child.
