14-Day Temporary Suspension Announcement – UPDATE Nov 25/20
2020-11-13
November 25, 2020
Members,
An additional update on soccer programming will follow down the road shortly. The Board has a meeting next Tuesday on December 1, 2020 to discuss this issue. However, it does appear that all programming is once again on hold for AT LEAST the next 3 weeks. We, of course, will follow all guidelines from Alberta Health Services. However, we did want to pass on SOME GOOD NEWS.
At the recent budget deliberations, the City of Grande Prairie agreed to provide up to $ 100,000 in matching funds towards our REGIONAL year-round multi-user indoor project. This is exciting and more information will come before the new year when our new website is launched.
The next step is a meeting at the Joint Regional Recreational Committee which is coming up shortly. If we want to make the year round indoor facility a reality, we need your help filling out this survey which only contains THREE questions. If possible, please reply by the end of this Friday.
Thank you,
Dylan Cartier
Executive Director, Swan City FC

We are looking at alternative plans for extending all schedules. We will communicate changes as soon as more information is known and time permits.
